A new survey reveals that 47% of Europeans back Turkey’s EU accession and 47% are opposed to it. But when the same respondents were asked how would they vote in a referendum on Turkey’s membership, 52% say that they would vote against it and only 41% in favour.

Last Sunday (6 Dec) was held the second round of the Romanian presidential elections. Finally Basescu won the closed competition, although he succeded it by only 70000 polls. It means that he is going to be the president of romania in the next 5 years. Everything else is quite uncertain in Romanian politics.
